CSR: Meadville Technologies Organic Farm Days

10 December 2021, Hong Kong – To support the corporate social responsibility initiatives and develop a strong sense of community, Meadville Technologies Company Limited (MTC) cooperates with a local non-profit organization, namely Produce Green Foundation, in offering an opportunity to staff and their family members to get the hands-on experience in organic farming. With this fun and educational experience, participates can learn how to grow vegetables in a natural way and have a better understanding on organic lifestyle and production. All harvested vegetables will be donated to the local charity which helps to distribute the organic vegetables for people who need food assistance.

This meaningful and joyful activity runs for 2 days separately. Participants spent a half-day to visit the organic farm in Fanling and tried farming in the field that encompass soil turning over, lifting, and seeding etc. during the planting day. For the harvest day, participants will have fun for self-harvesting and share the freshly harvested crops to the needy in the community.
